Replacing Front Brake Pads and Machining Discs

When replacing the front brake pads, consider machining the discs to make the surface perfectly smooth and eliminate any surface scratches. This operation can only be performed if the remaining thickness of the discs allows it. Lift the vehicle to remove the wheel, brake caliper, caliper bracket, and then the disc. After verifying that the disc thickness is within an acceptable range, have the disc machined and then reverse the process by installing a new set of pads. Pay close attention during the initial braking.
