How to Replace Brake Discs

This guide shows how to replace the brake discs on your car. They are crucial for the safety of the driver and passengers. First, turn the steering wheel towards yourself so that the brake caliper faces you. Lift the car with a jack and remove the wheel after taking off the wheel bolts. Use a hex key to unscrew all the bolts on the back that secure the caliper to the frame. Next, place the car on a flat surface and engage a gear to block the front wheels. This will allow you to slide off the caliper. Once the caliper is removed, you will only need to take off the brake disc.
