How to Change the Brake Discs on a Hyundai Elantra

Hello, as you know, the braking system of a car is the most important part. If it is not functioning properly and you want to fix it without a mechanic's help, how should you proceed? We will go through the steps. First, remove the wheel to expose the disc and pads. Start by unscrewing a bolt near the brake caliper, checking for brake fluid. For better braking performance, it is advisable to add fluid into the affected gap using a small tube that comes with the fluid. Then, insert a screwdriver between the caliper and the pads and start pressing by moving the screwdriver to the right. Once this step is complete, you can screw back the bolt that prevents fluid from leaking. Unscrew the bolts securing the caliper, then remove the pads. Unscrew the additional bolts to expose the disc, which will be removed after unscrewing the screws on it. If the disc is difficult to remove, you can use a hammer to gently tap on the disc to assist in its removal. Take the new disc, lubricate it, and screw in the two screws at the ends of the disc. Clean the caliper housing, secure it onto the disc, and then insert the pads into place, securing them with the caliper. Finally, tighten the fluid bolt, and you're done.
