In this tutorial, we can see how to adjust the handbrake in the Hyundai Elantra, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, park the vehicle in a flat place with the first gear engaged, then lift the center armrest and, using a flat-tip screwdriver, remove the cover of the bottom of the glove compartment. Then unhook the small indicated door, locate the adjustment nut and tighten it with a 10mm socket wrench until reaching the desired tension level. Finally, test the new adjustment on a suitable road.
