First, park the vehicle on a flat surface with the first gear engaged, then lift the centre armrest and, using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the cover from the bottom of the glove compartment.

Next, unclip the indicated small door, locate the adjustment nut, and tighten it with a 10mm socket until you reach the desired tension level. Finally, test the new adjustment on a suitable road.
