In this tutorial, we can see how to adjust the handbrake in the Hyundai Elantra, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we park the vehicle on a flat surface with the first gear engaged, then we release the handbrake, lift the armrest, and detach it from the base. We then remove the bottom of the glove compartment, locate the adjustment nut, and screw it slightly with a 12mm wrench until reaching the desired tension level.
