Replacing the key fob battery of an Isuzu Mu X is a really simple operation. You will only need a small flat screwdriver and a new battery. Make sure you have the correct model, which is a flat battery CR 2032. Take the key fob of your vehicle and first extract the metal key by pulling outward on the short upper side of the shell. Once the key is extracted, use the tip of the screwdriver to pry at the edges of the key fob shell to open it. At this point, simply remove the old battery and replace it with the new one, then close the shell and reinsert the key into the designated slot of the key fob.
