To replace the high-pressure valve of the fuel pump on an Iveco Daily 2.3d, you need a bit of patience and a steady hand. First of all, disconnect the battery for safety. Then carefully remove the engine cover and locate the high-pressure pump: it is usually located on the engine side, connected to the rail tubes. Remove the tubes and electrical connectors carefully, marking where they go to reassemble them without errors. Unscrew the faulty valve using a suitable wrench and replace it with the new one, screwing it in well but not too tight. Reassemble everything in reverse, double-check the connections, reconnect the battery and start the engine. If it starts smoothly and there are no leaks, mission accomplished. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, contact a trusted workshop.
