How to replace the EGR valve without removing the engine, on an Iveco Daily.
Model: IVECO Daily
In this video, we see how to change the EGR valve on an Iveco Daily without having to dismantle the entire engine. It involves removing parts of the engine that have been there for 15 years, so a hammer and chisel will be needed! Our YouTuber removed part of the fireproof padding by accessing it from the inside and dismantling the dashboard, since the EGR valve is located near it, on the passenger side. We remove the two bolts shown in the video, the rubber cooling tubes, and then we can remove the EGR valve. We can easily find the EGR valve on e-commerce sites, but we prefer not to provide a specific code because there are many versions of this van. Simply by typing "EGR valve for Iveco Daily," you can find the appropriate version for your truck. Reassembling through the opening we made in the van is quite easy, following the precise instructions of our YouTuber. Before closing everything up, it is necessary to perform a test to ensure that everything is working perfectly. Now, it is necessary to recreate the shield and insulation between the engine and the cabin with an aluminum plate glued with silicone, fiberglass wool, and then we will reassemble the entire dashboard in its place.

Reset Service Light on Ligier X TOO
This brief video covers the resetting of the service/maintenance light. Open the driver's door fully. Position the ignition key to the second stage (this does not mean starting the engine, just turning on the dashboard). At this point, simply press the button (see video) and hold it down. The dashboard will turn off, and the button should be pressed until the speedometer lights up again. When the dashboard is back on, the service light will be off. Of course, turning off the service light does not mean you are exempt from performing maintenance on the vehicle. by ScegliAuto More videos
