How to Replace the EGR Valve on Dacia Duster

To replace the EGR valve on a Dacia Duster model 1, we must: lift the front of the car using two axle stands and remove some components. Open the bonnet and remove the electrical sheath of the air mass meter, using a flathead screwdriver unscrew the securing screw and then remove the air duct. Unscrew the screw on the clamp and then the fixing nut, using a socket wrench with a 10 mm insert, unscrew the screw that secures the hooks and then push with a large flathead screwdriver on the coloured part of the tube to remove it. Unscrew the lower part of the air duct and with a socket wrench with a 10 mm insert, unscrew the nut and remove the duct. Using a small flathead screwdriver, remove the power connector of the valve and with a 10 mm spanner, remove the three supporting screws of the valve. Remove the coolant inlet pipe by lifting the tab with a screwdriver. Extract the valve and remove the pipe, remove the inlet duct of the EGR valve, for this operation, you need to unscrew the two screws located at the base using a 10 mm insert key. After cleaning the EGR valve duct, insert it into the valve itself and reassemble the metal joint, connecting the coolant outlet pipe. Refit the coolant inlet pipe, replacing the original ring. Screw in the screw on the ring and the supporting screws of the valve. Connect the electrical connector and refit the air inlet duct, first screwing in the lower part of the duct and then connecting the pipes before screwing in the upper part. Once the valve is installed, reconnect the upper mass meter and close the bonnet.
