In this video, you will see a common problem with the Dacia Duster: the wastegate valve on the vehicle's turbo. This valve is located in the exhaust manifold (turbine side) and its opening is determined by the boost pressure on the compressor side.

The valve has a lever that makes a strange noise, which you may have heard in the video; it is noticeable at low revs, but if the problem is serious, it can be heard continuously. Unfortunately, the valve is positioned in a difficult-to-reach place, behind the reflective shield; as long as it remains like this, it is just annoying, as it is only the lever that has a bit of play.

Otherwise, you will notice that the engine does not "pull" as it should, and the noise becomes practically constant. Unfortunately, Dacia is aware of the problem but is not authorised to replace it. To change it yourself, you will also need to remove the turbo: a considerable job.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
