How to Replace the EGR Valve on a Dacia Sandero II

Replacing the EGR valve on the Sandero II 1.5 dCi requires the removal of several components. Lift the car and place it on axle stands. Disconnect the MAF sensor connector and remove the intake pipes. Unscrew the nut on the turbo air duct (10 mm socket) and remove the duct. The EGR valve is secured with three screws (10 mm spanner). Disconnect the electrical connector and the coolant pipes (pressing the tabs). If the valve is caked, use a release agent and a hammer with a piece of wood to rotate and free it. Also, remove the inlet duct of the valve. Clean the duct and install the new valve with the metal gasket (pay attention to the orientation). You can find it on eBay with code 358779241169 for £84.05, with free delivery. Reconnect the pipes and the connector. Refit the intake ducts and tighten everything.
