In this video, see how it was possible to repair the indicator switch on an Iveco Daily. The YouTuber removed the component to take a look in order to tidy up the part, but upon examination, he found that the solder joints on the switch were all loose.

The switch still worked, but intermittently, due to the poor integrity of the soldering. After cleaning it with brake cleaner, he soldered it with a small tool and low melting point solder (if the board gets too hot, the rail can detach).

Before reassembly, a bit of grease was applied.
