How to Remove the Front Seat from a Jaguar X Type

Here’s how to remove the front seat located in the cabin of a Jaguar X Type. This guide explains how to proceed: disconnect the power terminals (for safety reasons), move the seat back (using the electric buttons if available) and raise the seat base, then unscrew the securing bolts located on the front rail with a socket spanner. Move the seat forward using the adjustment buttons and remove the securing bolts from the rear of the rail. Finally, disconnect the power terminals of the front seat (perform appropriate maintenance). Refit the front seat of the car by following the disassembly steps mentioned earlier.
