Jaguar Xkr - Video tutorial

Model: Jaguar Xkr X100, MK 1 - Years 1996-2006
Part: V-belt
Operation: Service belt replacement on Jaguar XKR

Raise the hood as much as possible, as shown in the video, up to the perpendicular position with respect to the car. To do this, unclip the lower attachment of the hood pistons, with a flat screwdriver, and insert a bolt into the holes in the fixing bracket of the hood itself. Loosen the pulley that holds the belt tensioned and remove it: I am sorry to tell you that on this model of car it is much more complex than usual to remove the service belt, so arm yourself with patience and you will succeed in it calmly. With the same patience reassemble the belt following the exact pattern with which the original was mounted, then tighten the pulley.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
