These short and simple instructions will show us how to activate and deactivate the 4x4 traction of the Jeep Compass, but also of the Cherokee. First of all, we get on board the vehicle and start the dashboard and the engine; then we raise the handbrake lever and press the button located on the central tunnel to activate or deactivate the 4x4 traction, as shown in the video. At this point, we will activate the 4x4 traction when necessary, for example in case of driving on rough terrain; the operation can be carried out from a standstill at any time.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
