How to permanently deactivate the Start & Stop system on the Jeep Compass

In this video, we can see how to permanently deactivate the start & stop function on the Jeep Compass (the same method applies to Renegade and Commander). In fact, it can be deactivated from the dashboard with the button, but it automatically reactivates every time the car is restarted. If we want to deactivate it permanently, we must open the hood and disconnect the connector located on the right side of the battery, at the negative pole. To ensure that it is not damaged, in case we want to reactivate it, we recommend isolating it with tape (non-adhesive), in order to protect it from dirt and dust.
