In this video, we will see how to reset the Start & Stop system on our Jeep Compass MK1: from the fuse box, we need to locate the fuse, which on this model is found in the box located in the cabin and should be number #F32, but it is best to check, as it may be located differently depending on the version. Remove it and wait for a minute. Be aware that removing this fuse may affect other systems connected to it, so it is advisable to consult the owner's manual. After a minute has passed, replace the fuse and restart the car, letting it run for a few minutes at idle, then take it for a test drive. This operation can also be done by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery and takes about fifteen minutes to ensure the capacitors fully discharge. Unfortunately, this system requires re-entering the radio code, so keep it handy when reconnecting the battery, or the radio will not work.
