How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning Light on a Jeep Grand Cherokee

The procedure to reset the TPMS light is simple: first, check the tyre pressures against those indicated by the manufacturer, which can be found on the driver's door pillar, and then drive for 15 to 20 minutes at a speed above 15.5 mph. If the light does not turn off, there are a few methods: disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for 15 to 30 minutes to reset all the car's electronic systems, and then repeat the driving for 15 to 20 minutes. On some versions, there is a physical button labelled "TPMS" located under the dashboard or in the glove compartment. Press it until the light flashes three times, release it, and repeat the driving. In newer models, you can reset it via the infotainment system: go to "Vehicle Information", find the "Tyres" option, and follow the instructions to reset the system. Again, driving must be repeated.
