How to Disable Hill Start Assist on a Jeep Renegade

To activate and deactivate hill start assist on the Jeep Renegade, use the controls on the steering wheel (navigation panel). Go to "settings", enter "safety" and select "Hill start assist". Choose between "on" (activated) and "off" (deactivated). It is important to know that deactivation is not recommended except in very specific situations (for example, on completely flat roads or when making precise manoeuvres in very tight spaces). The system is designed to intervene only when necessary, without disrupting normal driving. On the other hand, it is helpful in heavy traffic situations on inclines, such as queues on bridges or in the mountains.
