Lane Assist is an Adas that helps avoid accidents caused by sudden departures from one's lane, increasing car safety on the roads. The system detects road markings (solid and dashed lines). Lane Assist is a driving assistance system that warns the distracted driver if they cross the line that delimits their lane. Thus they try to avoid accidents caused by sudden departures from the regular trajectory. Lane Assist uses a camera, located behind the windscreen (usually at the rear of the interior rear view mirror), to monitor road markings. The button for activating and deactivating this system is located on the center console.
