Video tutorial

The Jeep Patriot is equipped with a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that operates through sensors mounted inside each tyre, measuring the actual pressure and sending the data to the onboard computer. There is a specific warning light on the dashboard that, if illuminated and remains on, indicates that one or more tyres are significantly under-inflated and need to be inflated as soon as possible.

If the light flashes for 60/90 seconds and then stays on, it indicates a system malfunction, such as a broken sensor or a flat battery. Once the tyres are inflated, you must drive for a few miles at a speed above 15 mph to recalibrate the system.

How to Remove the Front Bumper of the Renault Trafic?

To remove the front bumper of the Renault Trafic, use a tool to pry off the grille at the top: once this grille is removed, you can loosen the screws at the bottom to detach the front headlights. These must now be extracted by disconnecting the underlying connectors: this will allow you to loosen the additional screws that secure the front bumper and remove it completely. At this point, you can insert the new replacement part and check that everything functions correctly.
