To replace the battery in the key fob of a Jeep Wrangler, take the fob and locate the small slot along the edge of the casing. Insert a flat screwdriver and gently pry apart the two halves of the shell.

Once open, locate the battery inside the compartment. Remove the old battery and insert a new one of the same type, ensuring the correct polarity is followed.

After placing the new battery, close the fob by pressing the two parts together until they click. Press a button to check that the fob works correctly and that the locking and unlocking functions are operational.
