Remove the Key Battery on Jeep Wrangler

Is the Jeep Wrangler key battery dead and needs changing? Here’s how to remove it from inside the key. Take your remote key, and with the help of a screwdriver, pry apart the rear plastic cover of the key (lever between the key cover and the covering plastic). Extract the worn battery. Take a new battery of the same size and voltage and insert it inside the key. Refit the cover on your remote by pressing on the key cover until you hear it click into place. Check the operation of the remote key with the new battery.
