Replacing the Rear Camera on a Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

Open the boot lid and remove the internal cover of the boot lid: to do this, unscrew all the screws that secure it and detach it by hand, first pulling it out on one side and then the other. In all the round holes now exposed, there are six 10 mm bolts that you need to undo, thus removing the spoiler where the third brake light is located. At this point, you can disconnect the rear camera connector from the inside of the boot and unclip the two black plastic clips that secure it, allowing you to remove it.
