How to Remove the Radio from a Jeep Grand Cherokee

How do you remove the radio from a Jeep Grand Cherokee? Start by removing the trim around the air control knobs, then unscrew the securing screws for the entire radio cover (radio and instrument cluster). Detach the plastic from above the dashboard. Once the radio screws are visible, use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws located at the sides of the radio. Pull the radio out with your hands and disconnect the power and antenna connectors. Install a new original radio or a generic brand radio using appropriate adapters for the power connection.
