Replacing the Remote Battery on Jeep Cherokee - Grand Cherokee

In this video, learn how to disassemble and replace the battery of the electronic key remote on a Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee. First, take your remote and extract the mechanical key by sliding the button; then, use something thin to pry the sides apart to separate the remote shells, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); simply reassemble the two shells of the remote and check its functionality!
