Instructions for Removing the Front Headlamp

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ, MK 2 - Years 1998-2004
Part: Headlight

Open the front bonnet and unscrew the fixing screw of the headlamp (it is located centrally and is quite long); then, using a large flat screwdriver, lever the headlamp forward and complete the removal by pulling it out manually. Disconnect the connectors and remove the retaining clips which should be applied to the new headlamp (lubricate them before removal to avoid breaking them).
Connect the connectors to the new headlamp, align it in the insertion position, and push it back until it clicks into place; finally, apply the fixing screw. Proceed in the same way for the replacement of the other headlamp and adjust the beam with the appropriate tool.
