Replacing the Fuel Filter on Jeep Cherokee

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee MK 2, WJ - Years 1998-2004

Let's look at removing the fuel filter from a Cherokee along with the necessary removal parts. Locate the fuel filter once the vehicle is lifted with a jack. Unscrew the screws securing the fuel filter located near the container (you can also use a socket spanner). Once the filter is removed, take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Install the filter back into the associated container: connect the fuel circulation hoses to complete the replacement. Lower the vehicle and start the engine to check its operation.
