Replacing Engine Oil on Jeep Compass

In today's video tutorial, you will learn how to replace the engine oil and its filter on a second generation Jeep Compass, performing the regular maintenance service. First, lift the vehicle and remove the lower engine cover by unscrewing all the fixing screws with a socket spanner; then unscrew the oil drain bolt and let it drain into a container for about twenty minutes. Next, remove the oil filter located next to the drain bolt, unscrewing it by hand or, if necessary, using the appropriate tool; then fit the new one and pour in the new engine oil!

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
