In the Jeep Compass, after changing the oil and the corresponding filter, it is necessary to manually reset the oil service light. This video shows how to proceed.

Start by turning on the instrument cluster, not the engine, then press the accelerator pedal fully three times. Once done, turn off the ignition, turn it back on, and check that the procedure was successful.

If it does not work, repeat the process, ensuring you do not take too long and that the cluster is fully initialised before pressing the accelerator.
