How to Reset the Oil Service Light in a Jeep Compass?

In the Jeep Compass, after changing the oil and the corresponding filter, it is necessary to manually reset the oil service light. This video shows how to proceed. Start by turning on the instrument cluster, not the engine, then press the accelerator pedal fully three times. Once done, turn off the ignition, turn it back on, and check that the procedure was successful. If it does not work, repeat the process, ensuring you do not take too long and that the cluster is fully initialised before pressing the accelerator.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
