How to Remove the Radio from a Jeep Grand Cherokee Mk3

This guide shows how to remove the radio from a Jeep Grand Cherokee Mk3. First, remove the plastic trim surrounding the gear lever. Next, remove the plastic trim of the central dashboard module using a trim removal tool. It is not necessary to completely remove this piece, but if you want more working space, it can be taken out. Unscrew the four 7 mm bolts securing the radio and pull the unit out. Disconnect the electrical cables from the radio before fully removing it.
