How to Reset the Service Light on a Jeep Cherokee

In this video tutorial, you can see how to reset the service light by following a few simple steps that will guide you towards proper management of your vehicle. Above the central mirror, in the overhead console with display, there are four buttons used to reset the service. Use the two central buttons, labelled RESET and STEP, and the one on the right labelled MENU. Turn on the ignition and press the MENU button until the maintenance interval "SERVICE INTV" is displayed. Press the STEP button to set the mileage value for the next maintenance. Press the RESET button, and the display will show the message RESET SERVICE INTERVAL? Press the STEP button and go to the YES option. Press the RESET button to confirm the reset. Turn off the instrument cluster.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
