To remove the rear bumper on a Jeep Cherokee, access the underside of the vehicle to unscrew all the bolts securing the bumper from below. Once all the screws at the bottom are removed, unscrew those located on the side of the piece so that the old bumper can be completely removed from its housing. This will allow you to position the new replacement piece, securing it with the screws at the bottom and sides.
