Discover the steps to perform the routine maintenance service by replacing the engine oil and oil filter in the Jeep Grand Cherokee. First, open the bonnet and start by removing the engine cover by unscrewing the filler screw; lift the vehicle and unscrew the oil drain bolt found on the sump, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point, unscrew the oil filter cartridge located in the engine bay using a socket wrench with an extension, replacing it with the new one; finally, pour in the new engine oil (in this case, a 5w30).
