Fixing the Remote Control Malfunction on a Jeep Grand Cherokee

Today, we will see how to address the issue if the remote control is not functioning. You will need a small flat-head screwdriver, an electrical contact cleaner, a CR 2032 battery, some cotton buds, paper, and a ruler. Start by removing the key from the shell. Use the screwdriver to open the shell and access the battery compartment. Separate the rubber button pad from the circuit board where the button contacts are located. To ensure a good connection, slightly bend the battery tabs. Clean the circular contacts on the circuit track of the buttons using the cleaner and cotton buds. Take the paper and cut a strip 3 cm long; inserting this into the shell will improve the button contacts. Reassemble everything, having replaced the battery, and test the remote control's functionality.
