This guide shows you how to remove and replace the rear door panel of the Jeep Cherokee XJ, first generation. First, open the rear door and start by unscrewing the fastening screws located inside the holes under the grab handle, using a cross-head screwdriver; then, pry the sides of the panel until it completely detaches, as shown in the video.

At this point, disconnect the handle cable to permanently remove the door panel; all that remains is to refit everything by applying the reverse procedure!
