How to Replace the Car ECU

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK, MK 3, WH - Years 2004-2010

Among the components of a car engine, the ECU is one that can fail most frequently. The following guide shows how to replace it. The first step is to obtain a new ECU. To remove the old ECU, open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery to avoid any risk. To take out the ECU, loosen the screws and clips holding it in place. Additionally, disconnect the coloured wires. Once this is done, you can remove the ECU and install the new one.
