Before thinking the worst, such as a broken key that needs to be replaced, let's change the battery inside it, following the instructions from the video tutorial here: We release the lock and remove the emergency key from the shell, then we use this key to lever in the joint of the shell and open it in two parts. Once this is done, we will have reached the battery in question, which we simply need to remove from its housing and replace it with an identical one.
