How to Replace the Starter Motor?

In this video, learn the procedure to replace a starter motor. The car used as an example is a Jeep Cherokee, but the replacement process is generally the same for all vehicles. Before starting, disconnect the battery for safety. Lift the car and position yourself underneath as close to the starter motor as possible. Locate the three mounting bolts and remove them, then disconnect the electrical connectors. Extract the starter motor and fit the new one by connecting the plugs you removed from the old starter and repositioning the removed bolts.
