As shown in the video, having two retractable shelves without modifying the interior of your Jeep Cherokee can be very useful if, for example, you enjoy camping and need a surface to cook on, use as a cutting board, or as a sink. Take two wooden planks with a thickness of 10 mm and two square wooden strips measuring 45 x 45 mm. Remove the original anchors from your vehicle and in their place use L-brackets to assemble the wooden strips, each approximately 30 inches long. After securing the wood to the retractable brackets, screw the top shelf to the brackets and then insert the bottom shelf.
