In this tutorial, see how to replace the crankshaft position sensor in a Jeep Wrangler, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure the engine is completely cold for safety. Start by opening the bonnet, then locate the small box on the driver's side, unclip the cable at the bottom of it, and disconnect the indicated connector. Next, move underneath the left wheel, locate the sensor, and unscrew the single securing bolt with a long 11 mm socket. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
