To replace the battery on the Jeep Grand Cherokee, remove the protective panel inside the cabin, under the front passenger seat. Push the passenger seat forward and remove the battery cover with the carpet.

Once accessible, disconnect the terminals and loosen the securing bolts. The battery can now be pulled from its housing and replaced with a new unit.

After installing the new battery, cover it by repositioning the seat.
