Resetting the Service Light on the Kia Cerato

After changing the oil on the Kia Cerato, you need to reset the control system that alerts you to the need for maintenance. Sit in the driver's seat and turn on the instrument panel, using the controls on the right side of the steering wheel to select 'user settings' on the central display, then 'maintenance interval'. On the next screen, set '10,000 km' and '12 months' using the appropriate button and confirm with enter, go back in the menu and turn off the instrument panel.

Upon the next restart, check the reset.
