In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the remote battery of the KIA Sportage, a very simple and quick operation. You will only need a small flathead screwdriver and a replacement CR2032 battery.

First, locate the slot along the top edge of the remote, then insert the screwdriver tip into it, pry it open, and separate the two halves. Next, remove the old battery, insert the new one making sure to respect the polarity, and reassemble everything by simply reversing the procedure.
