In this video, see how to change the glow plugs in the engine of the Kia Soul MK2. This operation should be done with the engine warm to ensure the glow plugs come out easily. First, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, then remove the cover located behind the engine block after disconnecting the power wire and the support bracket.

There are also electrical connectors linked to a channel that must be disconnected. The channel must also be removed, as the glow plugs are located directly beneath the cover you need to take off. It is advisable to move the flexible pipe and the black cable found on the right side of the channel.

The fourth glow plug is in a more awkward position. When fitting the new glow plugs, remember to apply some copper grease to the threads and tighten them without overdoing it.
