Welcome to this article where we will illustrate step by step the procedure to replace the battery of the 2022 Kia Rio key. For this operation, we will need a flathead screwdriver. First, use the flathead screwdriver to press along the edge of the key cover located under the Kia logo. Once the cover is removed, you will have access to the battery. Use the screwdriver to remove it, once the old battery is removed, insert the new battery and then reinsert the cover into its housing and press with your hands to close it by inserting the fixing clips into their housing.
