To replace the remote battery of the Kia Rio, lift the key located at the top of the device by pressing the designated button. Once the key has been removed, you can lift the cover from the back of the remote by prying inside the housing.

This will allow you to access the battery and remove it from its seat, installing a new replacement part. After the new battery has been installed, remount the back cover of the remote and lower the key.
