In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a KIA Rio, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the key is not inserted for safety.

Then, open the bonnet, locate the bolt of the lower mounting bracket, and undo it using a long 14mm socket. Next, loosen the nuts on both terminals with a 10mm spanner, disconnect them starting with the negative, and remove the battery from its housing.

Now, simply insert the replacement and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
