Learn how to replace the timing belt on a Kia Rio. Open the bonnet and lift it, securing it with the provided rod. Disconnect the power wiring using pliers, lift the car with a column lift to access the underside. Remove the wheel, and using a screwdriver, remove the side plastic splash guard. Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Fit the new belt, tighten everything with the socket. Finally, reattach the splash guard and the wheel.
