Guide to Replacing the Timing Belt of the Kia Rio

In this guide, we will see the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the timing belt of the Kia Rio. First, let's open the hood of the vehicle and start by removing the engine mount on the timing belt side by unscrewing the two fastening screws; then we remove the timing belt cover. At this point, we lift the vehicle and remove the crankshaft pulley by disconnecting the V-belt; we loosen the tensioner to remove the timing belt, replacing it with the new original one. If necessary, we will replace any accessory components related to the timing belt if they are faulty or worn.
